Drzewa są najlepszym prezentem, jaki możemy pozostawić po sobie dla następnych pokoleń! Takiego zdania był pewien ksiądz proboszcz, prywatnie zapalony ogrodnik, w jednej ze śląskich parafii. Na 800-lecie wsi z jego inicjatywy przy każdym domostwie zasadzono lipowe drzewko. Piękny prezent dla wnuków i prawnuków.

Nawet gdyby jutro miał nastąpić koniec świata, jeszcze dzisiaj posadziłbym drzewko! Ta entuzjastyczna deklaracja miała ponoć paść z ust Marcina Lutra, pioniera Reformacji. Reformacja była nie tylko okresem, który w świadomości potomnych utrwalił się jako czas burzliwych dysput religijnych, ale również okresem wielkiego rozwoju języków narodowych ‒ właśnie dzięki tłumaczeniom Biblii i Psalmów.

Czas Reformacji był okresem intensywnych tłumaczeń, dzięki którym języki narodowe przeżywały swój prawdziwy rozkwit. To czas tłumaczeń.

W roku 2017 przypada jubileusz 500-lecia Reformacji.

Fundacja „Pamiętamy o ogrodach” chciałaby zrealizować projekt, który zwróci uwagę społeczeństwa na rolę tłumaczy w kulturze – ludzi stojących w cieniu autorów. Przecież bez ich mrówczej pracy nigdy nie mielibyśmy możliwości obcowania z dziełami innych narodów.

Czarnolas jako najbardziej znana wieś w kulturze polskiej, miejsce symboliczne, wydaje się być miejscem wymarzonym dla naszego międzynarodowego projektu, któremu nadaliśmy nazwę: „PSALMOTEKA”.

Psalmoteka – od największego dzieła polskiego  Renesansu Psałterza Dawidów Jana Kochanowskiego.

Psalmoteka ma być żywym pomnikiem 150 drzewek lipowych (tyle, ile wynosi liczba psalmów). W swoim zamyśle ma przede wszystkim przypominać, że Czarnolas był i przynależy do Europy!

– Ma integrować współpracę europejską (planujemy, aby drzewka zostały zasadzone przez młodzież polską i niemiecką – współpraca „atelier of art” e.V. Matthias Jurke. (Przyjaciele i partnerzy Fundacji)

– w dalszych projektach fundacyjnych mamy plany organizowania wyjazdów młodzieży czarnoleskiej na warsztaty artystyczne do Niemiec;

– podkreślić wspomnianą już wyżej rolę tłumaczy;

– przypomnieć o genialnym dziele Jana Kochanowskiego (także mniej znanych tłumaczy z rodu Kochanowskich – Piotra oraz Mikołaja Kochanowskich), nie tylko poety, ale i tłumacza;

– chcieliśmy zostawić odrobinę piękna – takie jest bowiem motto przyświecające realizacji projektów fundacyjnych.

Projekt chcemy zrealizować we współpracy z Gminą Policzna oraz z grupą młodzieży polskiej i niemieckiej.

Termin realizacji projektu: październik 2018

Honorowym Patronem projektu jest Pan Tomasz Adamiec, wójt Gminy Policzna.

'Trees are the best presents that we can leave behind for future generations.'

Those words were uttered by a certain priest, a keen gardener, in one of the Silesian parishes. In the 800-year-old village each house had a linden tree planted, a fine present for successive generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

'Even if the end of the world were to happen tomorrow, I would still plant trees today.'

That enthusiastic utterance came from the mouth of none other than Martin Luther, moving force of the Reformation.

Reformation was not only a description of the stormy changes and disputes in religion but also a time of great development of national languages thanks to the translations of the Bible and Psalms. The time of the Reformation was an extremely busy one for translations as a result of which national languages were able to reach their full flowering. It was an age of of translation.

2017 sees the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.

The foundation 'Pamiętamy o Ogrodach' would like to carry out a project designed to bring to society’s notice the role of translators in our culture. These are people who stand in the shadow of the author.

Nevertheless, without their unsung industry we would never have the chance of feasting ourselves on the works of art of other nations.

Czarnolas, as the best known village in Polish culture, a symbolic location, seems to be the ideal spot for our international project, which we have called PSALMOTEKA.

Psalmoteka is to be a living monument of 150 linden trees (one for each of the psalms).

Uppermost in our thoughts is the fact that Czarnolas was and always will be an international village.

It has to encompass international cooperation (our intention is that the trees will be planted by both Polish and German young people.) a joint venture with the atelier of Art Matthias Jurke, friends and partners of the foundation.

Further plans include trips by the young people of Czarnolas to the art studios in Germany. A reminder to people of the genius of Jan Kochanowski (also of the lesser known translators in his family, Piotr and Mikołaj), not only poets but translators as well.

We wish to leave something pretty behind – that is the fundamental motto of the projects of our foundation.

We want this project to be carried out in conjunction with the community of Policzna and a group of Polish and German young people.

Date for completion of this project : October 2018.
